Adobe Education Teased Something at ISTE 2026, and I Squeed Loudly

I am going to keep this one short because the thing itself was short.

This tease turned Claudio from one of my favorite Adobe Evangelists into the DEVIL!

At the end of an Adobe Education booth session at ISTE 2026, our presenter, Claudio Zavala, showed us a one-minute and fifteen-second video.

It was a 3D-animated short, the kind of visually rich, layered, genuinely beautiful piece of content that you would normally assume required a professional animation studio, significant budget, and people with skills most teachers do not have and will never have time to develop.

It was made entirely with AI-generated prompts. Every element editable. Every creative decision accessible to a student or teacher with an idea and an Adobe Express account.

I squeed. Loudly. In a room full of people. I have zero regrets about this.

This was not a full product announcement. Adobe did not take the stage and declare a launch date or open a waitlist. Claudio showed us one video at the end of one session and let it speak for itself.

It spoke for itself.

Here is what matters about that one minute and fifteen seconds: the gap between "I have an idea for a video" and "I have a video" just got significantly smaller for every educator in that room. Student projects, instructional content, creative assessments, storytelling across every subject area, all of it becomes more possible when the technical barrier between imagination and output collapses.

Adobe has not officially announced full details on the AI Video Creator yet (that I've seen). When they do, I will be writing about it at considerably more length (unless it happens at their Summit and I'm NDA-ed).

For now: I saw something. It was extraordinary. And my reaction was audible.
